Make sure you give all your employees an ample training for effective closing at every contact with paying customers...let me say
this here "all Employees are Marketers" and have the potential of making and increasing sales.

The most frequent mistake companies and business men and women make in seeking short term savings is to cut training. 

Chinese, Japanese and American companies often put their people through much more training than we do. 

Am aware of department store elevator operators who are trained for months so that they know a great deal about people and the store...they can tell you where to find virtually anything in the place. Of course! What do you expect! this extensive training makes them much more than ordinary operators of the lift...they become virtual ambassadors for the store.

Honestly, training need not always be in a classroom setting, although some should be...you can assign more experience marketer and sale person to newer ones...this can create a mentoring relationship as we all know that "the old hand teaches the rookie" what to do. 

But! Be sure the mentor has the best work skill and habits...so that, he or she doesn't fleet the habit in your new marketers...
