LOOK IN THE MIRROR BEFORE YOU GO OUT FOR BUSINESS!!

...let us talk about how our dressing influence our sales...as a business persons...

From the moment we meet people, we begin to size them up. What we decide about their trustworthiness and Ability is largely a factor of first impressions (1st IMPRESSION).

...as the old saying, you only get one chance to make that First Impression.

It doesn't matter what your Business is, where you are selling it, or who you are selling your products or service to,...you have no excuss to appear Inappropriate or dirty...

Consider this story!...

An owner of an auto repair shop tried an experiment. He paid each of his repair people on commission for the amount of repair work they did....

...he invited the mechanics to volunteer to change their dress and grooming. Several agreed to cut their hair, shave daily and wear clean uniforms....

...those who did created far more repeat business than the others. Customers would ask for the better dressed mechanics, and those who chose to dress and groom themselves in the "old way" found they were getting less work to do.

The KEY word in dress and grooming is approprite...Sales people in a Surf shop would look foolish in three-piece suits; an undertaker would look ludicrous in a Hawaiian spot shirt.

The importance of dress explains why some organisations provide uniforms. It used to be more widespread...Nurses, delivery people and Bank employees were given attractive full or partial uniforms that projected professionalism...Many employees appreciated this.

My readers, perhaps you and/or your company could benefit from such a practice, don't live yourself dirty because you are a farmer. You can certainly set yourself and business apart from your competition.
