...like to talk about Customer today!

I don't care about any type of business you are doing or intending to start doing...if you will stay in that BUSINESS then, you need CUSTOMERS as in paying Customers.

...so, if you agree with me that we all need paying customers...then I think there is need to know who really is a Customer!


WHAT IS A CUSTOMER?

- A Customer is the most important person ever in your office...in person or by mail.

- A Customer is not dependent on us...we are dependent on him.

- A Customer is not an interruption of our work...he is the purpose of it. we are not doing a favour by serving him...he is doing us a favour by giving us the opportunity to do so.

- A Customer is not someone to argue or match wits with. Nobody ever won an argument with a customer.



- A Customer is a person who brings us his wants. It is our job to handle them profitably to him and ourselves.


Rewarding a customer at the initial moment of truth begins long before he ever appears, writes, calls, or agrees to see you.


...it takes a sound, well-thought -out strategy and a good deal of groundwork to make first contacts successful.


Putting the following ideas to work will help you and those you work with make a positive first impression.


...as soon as you see a customer, politely acknowledge his presence. Never, Never, Ever ignore a customer.
