Don't sell anything outside the NEED to Customers or Prospects...
...always make sure you matchmake the NEED of your Prospects or Customers with your Products BENEFIT(s)...
Question:
Then; you may ask, How do I identify customers NEEDS?
Simple!
- By asking a probing questions...question like (have you heard about this Products?, do you know that this product can do this?, have you try the product before? e.t.c)
...when you ask Questions you Unlocked the NEEDs.
- By Listening to the Prospects and,or Customers speaks...be a very good and patience listener.
...when you listen well you identify the NEEDs.
- By action and expression of the Customers or Prospects...action is another way of communication.
...action speaks louder than words they say.
- By giving relevant Objections...this is what i tell sales people... Objection simply mean "want to know more" it is not 'rejection'
There are many more ways to identify Customers or Prospect NEEDS but let's leave it for another day...
If you haven't being using these methods before...I advice you, to start using them, because take it from me...even if you think you are selling with the way you have being doing it...I tell you that customer(s) either buy from you out of sympathy or your sweet mouth...he can not be an advocate of your product(s)...and the day he realise that he is not getting anything out of your products,...he will opt out.
Start now! it is not too late...
